Top 5 University Recruitment Videos Inspired By Glee

Universities & colleges are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of using online video to promote their institutions to prospective students. The frequency and creativity of these productions is beginning to gather speed.

Some of the most popular university videos feature a musical element to them, they take inspiration from love-it-or-hate-it musical TV show ‘Glee’. Other institutions have used flash mobs, rapping, and even lip-dubs to promote their universities to prospective students. These videos are anything but dull…they are a “fun” complement to traditional student profile videos.

Skeleton Productions produces a lot of videos for universities & colleges. In our humble opinion, the top 5 “musical” university videos are as follows:

1) ‘That’s why I chose Yale’, Yale University, Connecticut

2) ‘I Gotta Feeling’ lipdub, University of Quebec and Montreal, Canada

3) The Spanish O’Donnells, Marquette University, Wisconsin.

This video was used to raise scholarship funding and proved to be incredibly successful, raising over $7000 after only three weeks!

4) Ohio State Union flash mob, Ohio State University, Ohio

5) ‘Delaware: The Musical’, University of Delaware, Delaware
