Case Study: Sport England
The Challenge
Sport England is a world leading community sports organisation. One of its missions is to encourage grass roots participation in sport. This is a challenging mission, many falsely perceived barriers to participation exist (particularly amongst minority groups).
Sport England wanted to find a way to overcome these perceived barriers and get more people into sport.
The Solution
A series of sport specific videos featuring authentic video testimonials from current sports participants. Their testimonials focus on the benefits of participation and the experiences that they had when taking up the sport. The interviewees were chosen carefully to resonate with minority groups.
The Result
The videos have been uploaded to many of the UK's top sporting websites. County sports partnerships such as Sport Essex have been particularly supportive, helping the videos to gain thousands of views.
