Highlights from our Work Experience Students this SummerBy Ellyn Cook | 10:45 AM on August 17, 2016
This summer we've had the pleasure of taking on several work experience students.
It always means a little extra work for us. But at the end of the day it's worth it to spend time with such an enthusiastic, talented and hardworking group of young people.
We hope we helped them develop skills for the modern workplace, realise their strengths and weaknesses, and discover which areas of work they might enjoy most. (Maybe even have a little fun too.)
They certainly helped us. Their assistance in all areas of the business allowed us to create more effective research methods and hone our own management skills. They even helped us to set up and film a series of interviews — featuring themselves!
Here's the result of all their hard work.
Tilly enjoys illustration & animation.
During her week of work experience she helped support the marketing team, as well as getting stuck into post-production and film editing. She thoroughly enjoyed animating her own 2D character.
Don't just take our word for it — Tilly also wrote a post about her experiences at Skeleton.
Morgan started his work experience with the aim of developing his knowledge of the media production industry.
We tasked Morgan with jobs across all areas of the business, from project research to editing. He found animation the most enjoyable.
You can see his Rasputin GIF along with his blog post below.
Kai-Yan has a passion for filmmaking & animation.
He came to Skeleton wanting to further develop his animation skills, with the dream of one day working for Pixar. Having seen his work in action, we think they'd be lucky to have him!

Lily showed a keen interest in work experience with Skeleton so she could get to know the film industry.
One day Lily hopes to work on TV production. She assisted us with script writing and also helped set up and film our work experience interviews.
It's been a pleasure having you all — best of the luck for the future!
